I used <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><a title=\"Procreate App\" href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/au\/app\/procreate\/id425073498?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\">Procreate app<\/a><\/span> with my iPad which is my most favourite app at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>You can see a few useful tools and functions being used in the video. I speeded up the drawing part (x8) so it might look a little busy but I thought one and half minute length was just long enough to keep your attention to see some of handy tools.<\/p>\n<p>Now here is the procedure, the words in bold type are key points during the process.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>choose a <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">back ground<\/span> colour (ocher)<\/li>\n<li>draw on the first <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">layer<\/span><\/li>\n<li>use <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">transform<\/span> tool to change its size bigger to draw details<\/li>\n<li>use <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">smudge<\/span> tool to make the busy lines smoother<\/li>\n<li>use <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">transform<\/span> tool to change its size smaller and drew a frame around it<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">hide<\/span> the layer before<\/li>\n<li>drawing a book on <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">the second layer<\/span><\/li>\n<li>use <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">air-brush<\/span> tool to make a shade<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">show<\/span> both layers<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">swap<\/span> the first layer with the second layer before<\/li>\n<li>use Transform tool to <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">distort<\/span> the shape of a drawing to fit in the book front cover<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Didn&#8217;t you say Wow! when you saw in the video the picture was distorted to fit to the shape of front cover? It&#8217;s impossible to achieve this kind of trick with the traditional art materials.<\/p>\n<p>I am going to mainly use <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><a title=\"Procreate App\" href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/au\/app\/procreate\/id425073498?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\">Procreate app<\/a><\/span> in my workshop this time because of the following fantastic tools;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Smudge tool<\/span>: Much closer to the natural smudge feelings compare to other apps&#8217;<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Transform tool<\/span>: Change its scale and distort its shape<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>There are so many drawing apps out there, I&#8217;m sure you wonder <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>which one is the best drawing app for you?<\/em><\/span>\u00a0 You will end up with <strong>having a few selections of favourite apps and depends on its developer&#8217;s updates your most favourite will move from one to another<\/strong>.
